frankly it’s probably too late. Even if they did announce new policies, a large number of their former customers wouldn’t believe them, assuming it was just talks. and an even larger number have pretty much realized they only shopped there out of habit. A habit they’ve broken months ago.

I’ve only seen one other non paywall article, and that one painted a different picture, essentially saying Target hasn’t actually agreed to or posted anything about reimbursing DEI, that it was just just a talk between a CEO and a leader of one of the boycott movements.

A friend just retired this month. His husband retired last summer after school ended (you can guess the profession lol). They are making travel plans and his husband mentioned not knowing what day of the week it was and always being relaxed and I realized I’m doing retirement wrong. LOL

After a few days of relatively normal if slightly warm weather for this time of year in Southern CA we are back to 90F+ heatwaves, though at this this point maybe heatwave is t the right word anymore if this is the new normal. That said, if your a local there are heat advisories out, be safe

Running errands in shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops on a muggy 78’F day and just now noon. It’s also winter in late February in Southern CA. while I love warm weather, this bouncing ‘tween cold and heat weather is frankly a bit odd. But yeah “climate change” ain’t real the science deniers cry…
