i made bugbot into a papercraft :D
I caught a wild @phloxness.bsky.social
in my cardboard box. for tech support if needed. But put her carefully back to keep her in pristine condition as long as possible.
(My form of thank you for helping all of us with your wisdom/skills)

THATS MY GOATTTTT
I did both the model art and rigging, yes! I don’t currently take commissions though. I would recommend browsing VGEN though if you are worried about bots. It’s (mostly) safe there from AI and bots!
im having so much fun drawing my "super mascot" design... 🥺
so vtube studio has native sound parameter support now...
drew myself some new emotes hehe
chat voted on these during stream!

✧ Artmesh Layer Groups ✧
You can now collect your Vtube Studio artmesh into groups and recolor them ALL simultaneously! They can be easily saved for future use and even exported directly from Live2D using a userdata file.

Did you know there's a whole website dedicated to vtuber resources, most of which are OBS PLUGINS?
I tried every plugin on Hōrai's website in this video. Go check it out for an overview!

✧ WAVE LINK 3.0 GUIDE ✧
I made a quick guide going over what Wave Link does, how to add inputs, import VSTs, and route mixes back out for use in other apps.

Phlox smiling on the right next to several sample emotes made using the new Emote Lab software, consisting of: Phlox crying, Phlox sleeping, and Phlox holding a heart. The rest are blurred out for aesthetic purposes. The thumbnail reads, "Make Emotes Easily!" and is themed red and black.
✦ EMOTE LAB ✦
Emote making just became really affordable and simple with the launch of Emote Lab, so I made a video showing off how to use the customization and texturing!

✦ VITAMINS: A VBRIDGER ALTERNATIVE ✦
I finally made a video talking about what VBridger and Vitamins even are, and why you might choose one over the other. PLUS I go over Vitamins setup, so you can learn how to start & use math + JS basics!

Ohhh, my understanding was that Meowface was completely dysfunctional, I didn’t realize it still worked. Thank you for letting me know!
My old build was with a 2070S and Ryzen 7 3700X and I literally NEEDED the performance difference, so really glad it’s benefited you as well 🫶
More people should know about Vitamins!! It has some nice advantages, but the thing that keeps me recommending VBridger (and something that isn't mentioned in this comparison) is the mic tracking that VBridger has!
It's not a plug-and-play solution, but it's really great once it's set up
Hugeeee benefit for sure, also helps if you need another audio channel for something else. Wish visemes were in VTS’s audio sync so I could pull it from there instead. Ive been thinking about using both simultaneously to get viseme support 😵💫
An overview of Vitamins versus Vbridger, performance wise. Vbridger costs $10 USD with a $20 USD DLC editor. Vitamins is more performant, nearly 50% moreso. Vitamins is fully Javascript code based, while VBridger is only math based. However, Vitamins is limited to iOS tracking primarily due to other options malfunctioning. Vbridger is functional for iOS, Android, or Webcam.
A chart of pros and cons for Vbridger and Vitamins. Vitamins has extremely limited support, almost no community, and is considered abandonware due to a lack of update activity. However, it has applicable rigging resources online, and excellent documentation on using the app. VBridger has extremely amazing community support, guides, rigging tutorials, and updates, albeit infrequent.
You should only use Vitamins if you want complex automatic toggles, access to Javascript code, a slight performance increase, or access to Vitamins-only features, like the real-time clock feature using JS's date constructor.
A checklist comparison of previously discussed concepts for visual confirmation
✦ VITAMINS VS. VBRIDGER ✦
.. An overview! I have been using Vitamins for about 1.5y but previously used VBridger. There's been some talk about Vitamins lately, but slim resources, so here's an overview. Full video coming tomorrow!
