I went to the spa in Budapest once and we completely cancelled our plans for the rest of the day and just floated. Can recommend.

HOORAY!!!
LET'S PLAY IN THE SNOW!!
Given how many people predicted he would do a Trump/Bolsonaro this is pleasingly normal. He’s gone
I'm trying to edit a video but instead I keep refreshing the unfolding election results in Hungary. Dare we hope that something good might happen?
I'm in Germany using 100% renewable electricity, cycling, and heating my house with wood. And yet I just know that orange dipshit in America fucking about in the Middle East is going to put my bills up somehow.
"Nett hier aber waren Sie schon mal in Baden-Württemberg" yellow sticker next to an anime sticker in a phone box.
That's a good one. Don't see them in English as often. Here's one I saw in a phone box in Akihabara. I live in Baden-Württemberg and it's fine, by the way. Nice enough.
AI footage in the quote post. However it's a real fact, with real footage available (See my link below). Now people who believed it have a false image of how octopus act, and people who recognise it as AI question a real observed scientific fact. Utter bullshit.

I had a quick look and there are three petitions about this all with about 40 signatures and proposing slightly different things. None get it quite right. One says £1000 per person, company or union but that's just infinite donations if you pay a 10% fee to Companies House.
"But we wouldn't be able to maintain our vast property portfolio in the middle of London!"
Good. You're a glorified club. Have your conference in a village hall or something.
Does anyone know why we shouldn't cap donations to political parties at something like £1000 per person per year (and obviously no company donations)?

Sad to report the world didn't get annihilated overnight and now we all have to go to work.
Is that why the Android app is ass?
It's Trans Day of Visibility today. If you're trans and are raising money for something (I don't care what it is), reply to this thread and I will boost you.
If you are a cis person, take a look and find someone to support if you can.
Everyone give this a share after.
I'm the same. I don't have a car. I have a monthly subscription for local trains and buses but I rarely use it if I can cycle somewhere in under an hour. I like being able to "just go" and public transport should provide that but unless you're in the middle of a capital city it just doesn't.
Funny you should say that. My state, Victoria, has done so for the coming month. Which I think might be a trial for making that permanent, because it's CLEARLY a service that doesn't pay for itself in fares, but definitely saves on car-damage to roads, and parking requirements.
I just this minute heard that on one of my podcasts! It's such a cool idea and I hope it spreads.
I think governments should respond to the fuel crisis by making public transport free.
This is how I found out about it and I would have really appreciated a spoiler tag here. 🫤
So, yes!
I was at university in the 2000's and this song takes me back to the mosh pits in the rock pubs and I bet it's still there. Can I Play With Madness. Banger. #TOTP
A 2000's-era photo of Morten Harket.
Morten Harket is surely one of the most beautiful men to have ever lived and aged like fine wine. #TOTP
I could probably find that a-ha video on the Internet somewhere but I'll enjoy it more if I sit through #TOTP and wait for it.
Wuthering Heights (song) is the only good thing to have come out of Wuthering Heights (not song). #TOTP

My review of Wolfenstein 3D remains relevant as does the game itself, sadly. youtu.be/9oiVsys_wbw
The article is the only source for the story and it may be prestigious but it's not journalistic. I'm not saying it's definitely false but I think my friends and comrades in the online left (which includes me) are sharing it a bit quickly and uncritically. It looks designed to stir outrage.
I don't think this story is true and unless I see it independently-verified I think its spread serves as a good example of the online left's inability to practice media literacy on stories that reinforce our preconceptions. www.indexoncensorship.org/2026/03/scho...
