2026 Easter message from the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem, on letterhead that includes a red Jerusalem cross.
It appears to be used freely throughout the State of Israel by Christian communities there. Here’s just one example on the letterhead for the 2026 Easter message from the Patriarchs and Heads of Churches in Jerusalem.

Friends, I was ordained as an Episcopal priest in the Myrtle Beach area, serving a church in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, in the 1990s. ⚓️ The church once hosted an Elvis impersonator after a local judge had sentenced “The King” to community service.🤣
I was at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Surfside Beach, which is between Pawleys Island and Myrtle Beach. Alas, years later it left TEC and became an ACNA parish.

Here in Houston you can enjoy a little incense in worship on a Sunday morning at Palmer (Episcopal), as a treat, an opera in the afternoon at Rice University, and a wonderful dinner at Pasha, a Turkish restaurant in Rice Village.

Traces of Texas Facebook post with a photo of a country music singer wearing a lime-colored suit and lime-colored cowboy boots, introduced by these words: “Who else misses the days of key-lime, polyester suits with matching boots and REAL country music?”

On my way home this afternoon I stopped by the famous Darth Vader House in Houston. It’s real, and it’s for sale for $7,777,777.

This is an old photo, with an unobstructed view of the front doors. Now there’s a sculpture of a bull in front of the entrance to the house.

Fighting with HEB is like fighting with the Pope, except HEB might have more moral authority in Texas.
While a seminarian at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Stamford, Connecticut, I knew neither that I was a direct descendant of at least four dozen slaveholders nor that the vicar was a descendant of, and bore the same name as, the patriarch of the largest slave-trading family in American history. ⚓

We don’t really know how old she is. She just showed up outside the Rectory on Easter Monday at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown and refused to leave. Here’s a photo from her outdoor days. Now she lives a life of luxury inside (but kept separate from our three rescue dogs).
Does this make me a Luddite? I don't think so. My normie friends visit my apartment and go "whoa" at my gaming/podcasting/recording PC setup. I'm good with tech that's actually useful.
