Thank you too! And you know what’s funny, it was just one of those measly little, one-tiny-speaker, literally “old school” tape recorders, not loud at all… and it just didn’t matter at all! It was one of those indelible, spotlight moments when everything else stopped for me.

Amazing. Our teacher stepped out, & rather than Spanish language tapes, across the room my friend Ronald clicked the lid closed on the little player, Controversy started, & something deep in me clicked too. Awestruck I said, “Who. Is. That?!” He just said, “It’s Prince.” My world forever changed.
