What happens here is that the bluesky list is slow to sync to, add to, etc, so if you are bulk adding you have some separate file or database you store you list in and you sync it up to the list on bluesky. But then if you do this not-carefully it just sort of keeps doing it repeatedly

go to my profile and there's a post you can like for that

yes but sync is sort of slow and there's been at least 20k since i did that

the issue is that people doing relatively normal things tend to get a ton of flak and it is a pretty significant problem, which isn't obvious if you aren't over towards that end
