🎨When I can’t sleep in the night, I will sometimes get up and draw.

I will draw anything in my camera roll, as you can tell by this drawing of a grocery store freezer section. Lol.

Doing tutorials even when I’m working on commissions is helpful for me. There is always down time in working with watercolor (drying time anyone?) and it helps to have something else to work on.

These are the tools of the trade. The box of watercolors I work with, the posca pen I add white highlights with, the three main brushes I use and the permanent black ink I draw with.

The ink and pen are from Japan. It’s reay hard to find a truly waterproof ink, but this one is the best.

Now is a great time to think of commissioning works for the upcoming holiday season. Do you have a treasured location? A meaningful cottage, old family home?
