Mmhmm! I totally get why there's such a strong impetus to make fanart/fiction for them, as they give us these fun mostly-formed characters and leave them open to intepret or expand upon while we wait for more crumbs 😂

Oh I don't mind using busted old characters, I'm mostly just waiting for the few scraps of dialogue or events they get every year or two 🥲

one of my fav things from doing gestures in life drawing was the 30s/60s drawings; students would be like "that's not enough time to finish a drawing!" until they realized that no, you just have to re-prioritize what 'finished' means to you :D
