Wow! I always wondered why she seemed familiar to me in T2 but never put two and two together.

Very grateful to @rude1.blacksky.team and everyone at @blackskyweb.xyz for all the work they've done to get Blacksky and its associated servers up and running. Feels like no matter what happens to the management of the main Bluesky server, there's a future here.

PegGuessr PegGuessr shows you drone photos taken over Winnipeg and challenges you to pinpoint exactly where they were taken on a map. How well do you know your city from the sky?

Hey #Winnipeg have you played pegguessr.fun?

Wikipedia blacklists Archive.today, starts removing 695,000 archive links If DDoSing a blog wasn't bad enough, archive site also tampered with web snapshots.

The headline does not convey how completely batshit this story is. The Archive Today (archive.ph etc) admin weaponized the site's captcha to attack a blogger who wrote about them and *altered archived screenshots* as part of the attack.

I read (on reddit) that they brought it up with an official and they were like "yeah I saw it. it's allowed." so 🤷

I really want to do a re-play of Control before the new one comes out, I really enjoyed that game! But I agree, having the motivation to finish games is hard!

With only one square at a time, forward or sideways, you’ve got to admire his patience. That entrance was probably a two-hour commute.

As a mostly linux user at home, the linux community in general is so terrible for that kind of response.

It's very similar to the "host it yourself" crowd that seems prevalent on mastodon.

They are not helping things at all, and just alienating more people, imo.

ugh that sucks.

i remember a number of years ago when they removed the post box (is that the right name for it?) from our neighborhood, and we were devastated, it was just so convenient.

i grew up with lunch, and supper/dinner used interchangeably, and was thoroughly confused when my wife's family used lunch/dinner interchangeably. now i'm just used to it! 🤷

We had great food at Promenade Brasserie last year, and we've been meaning to go back but haven't had a chance yet! I blame our way-too-picky 11 year old, haha.

if you're talking about the dude on the left, then yeah, he always is doing giveaways and stuff for the Jets/Moose and i've seen him at SeaBears events too, so i guess he works for them all? i dunno. but he's always so full of energy and good at hyping up the crowd, haha.

gorillas was awesome! and fun to hack on too. before that we had an Apple II compatible computer called a Laser 128, if memory serves correctly.

we also played a lot of Scorched Earth which probably got some inspiration from gorillas.
