I think there might be a lot of psychologists who would fit the bill. As others have said, might depend on which aspects of psychology (thoughts, emotions, behaviors, social interactions). I study the mental and physical effects of exposure to direct and vicarious online racism, for instance.

As a woman professor, I feel increasing and insurmountable pressure to hold and manage all student emotions. If I am unwilling or resist it is seen as “not caring” about students and trainees. Tell me who believes it is their job to “care” for us faculty?

I am late to realize that Trader Joe’s discontinued 5 layer dip. Devastating. Why do they get rid of everything I love? Like their perfectly tart plain frozen yogurt quite some time ago by now. If they get rid of the soup dumplings I just don’t know how I’ll manage.
