cue a property dispute wherein lime viciously argues with rarity over who gets to keep the gems because that's from Pie family property, girlie! but pinkie sees how happy the gems make Rarity and makes the case that Rarity advertising their family's rocks in the talent show is good for business!

YES!!! i have always had the headcanon that the Pie family were the ones who got Rarity home! gems grow right in Ponyville, so it's 100% no coincidence that Rarity's destiny-fueled magic brought her all the way out to the rock farm!!!!!

Something random I'm rather proud of: After finally putting together enough to obtain a telephoto lens, I've managed to find an eastern screech owl, and entire nest of ospreys, and a nesting pair of bald eagles in the span of the year!

A great-horned owl still eludes me, but maybe next year

This is something you have to accept if you project. People are going to make that connection, and it’s going to make criticism of that characters actions hit way harder.

Charlie was very ignorant, self centered, and downright abusive this season. That observation shouldn’t be a personal attack.

I don’t mean this maliciously, but the projection onto Charlie was obvious and probably why people felt she wasn’t herself this season. I don’t think it served her or the story.

Her treatment of Vaggi especially (including in “easy, baby”) actually convinced me Charlie is toxic for Vaggi tbh
