Had an unexpected and hugely valuable 6mm of rain last night. Nice little haul this morning. Reasons to be cheerful ππ±π. Can you spot the non veg/fruit item harvested?

Black thankfully, still gave a nasty little nip on the back of the neck
Well they do and tbh Iβve not been bitten many times
Really happy with this photo of an orange-tip butterfly on a bluebell in our garden. One for the computer screen background. Had to lie down on the grass to get the best shot and got bitten by ants as a result π

My pheasant friend likes peanuts, heβs getting quite tame. I often worry about getting too close to wild animals as tragedy often follows and I find it quite upsetting π€π

I believe the willow warbler which is almost identical to the chiffchaff has a much nicer song
Very excited and surprised to see this ridiculously cute chiffchaff recently on the farm. Believe it or not it was exceedingly busy pecking off aphids from stringing nettles in the depths of winterπ³π
