César Fierro spent over 40 years on Texas death row for a crime he didn’t commit—despite evidence of police corruption and a forced confession. Convicted at 23, he was released in 2020. Join us next week for a two-part documentary on his time inside and his ongoing fight after freedom. 👇🏽

Mainstream media has reduced Matthew to a crime and a conviction. But criminalization robs people not only of their individual humanity—it harms their families and communities. Matthew was a father and was always remorseful for his actions. Like all people, he deserved the chance to heal.
