It is a shame that "democratization" in software has come to mean broader access to products instead of participation in democratic processes — there is talk of LLMs democratizing software production, but I have yet to see social, collective and democratic processes govern the design of software.

oh, i meant more of a view of a voice memo where instead of being tied to the technicity of GPS, it's specific to whether i physically turned left or right
there is a lot that i experience on a walk that i would like to safeguard by not capturing. the question of capture then is an ethical one too
heavy + for comments along the path, and transient annotations too
viz. for technological turned algorithmic sublime
this and Neverfairy "clap" to keep fairies alive, idk why the connection is there
connections to how recognizeable this walking data should be interpreted + abstraction
literally was dreaming out loud for a voice memo app that could capture bodily movements in space (but not for biometric capture, more as a diary writing contextual thing like a small note about the weather)
Brave New World "feelies", MT Anderson's <Feed>, and JG Ballard's <Crash>
living a day in our very precious lives... rest up y'all!
uncurious, lazy, sycophantic, cruel, needless thoughtless wastefulness
yeah 感觉更重要的是你的思路和眼界、perspective and unique way of synthesizing things/experience 比什么一俩显著作品要更有用。作品无非是a medium for fleshing things/ideas/feelings/hypotheses out喽
(轻轻拍拍兔头,给你系个蝴蝶结,我们是如此easily moved to feeling)
两份伤心,两个🫂我在此空运给你
也许他可以成为一种Rorschach test?当然你也不系要这么go about being so utilitarian about it
please remember you have my support nonetheless!

curious how this relates to themes/threads of (1) "vibe coding"/"designing" (2) shifting role of curiosity v. convenience/conformity?
cursed Twitter link, but since I was mulling over it over there:

whew elitism is one hell of a drug
cf. @eryk.bsky.social on NotebookLM: mail.cyberneticforests.com/its-interest...
I imagine this would require both a socially and technically grounded response/way to address this, but something about getting to the grain of the tech (cf. SAND Lab's Nightshade/Glaze) by exposing its contradictions
unsolicited suggestion: reduct.video Reduct for video transcription. they've also got a "videoboards" mode/feature where you can select highlights/excerpts of transcribed text and diagram/brainstorm from there.
this echoes what Prof Noel's Critical Computational Relations book launch covered: the forcing of sociotechnical issues into purely technical/computational framing. Excited to read.
