I thought about that usecase for the card a little but needing to very pre-emptively declare the card name at sorcery speed seems tough. In a format with brainstorm I can see the vision though, or a world where you're giving shooting stars flash/cheating it out at the end of your opp's turn maybe?

I really like this card design, I love cards that feel like they're daring brewers to find a way to break them. Haven't played mtg in ages but now I'm tempted to browse scryfall and look for crazy targets

Cosmos Fang - 6pp 5/6 Fanfare: Gain Ambush until the end of your opponent's turn. At the end of your turn, return all other allied followers to your hand and restore X defense to your leader. X equals the number of cards returned to a player's hand during your turn this turn. Evolve: Return all other followers to the players' hands. Strike: Gain +X/+0 until the end of the turn. At the end of your turn, return all other allied followers to your hand and restore X defense to your leader.

Honorable mention to Hozumi for cheating out followers from deck with minimal restrictions and being a combo payoff that builds a near unbreakable board instead of going for an otk. Hozumi cheats out Wimael and Cosmos Fang, then Cosmos Fang gives you a proactive way to generate more Wimaels

In SV1 artifact's primary mechanic is shuffling overstatted artifact tokens into the deck, many of which cost 1 play point. Once Deus Ex hits the field artifact starts playing similar to Rush Duel, spamming their entire hand onto the board every turn and getting a full hand refresh. 2/2

Deus Ex Machina - 5pp 4/5 Fanfare: Give your leader the following effects. -Whenever you play an Artifact card, recover 1 play point. -At the end of your turn, if Resonance is active for you, discard your hand and draw 6 cards. (These effects are not stackable and last for the rest of the match.)

Finding unique cards in a digital ccg is a challenge due to how they simultaneously break the rules of paper tcgs all the time while still being restricted by what can be easily programmed, but the closest that comes to mind for Shadowverse is Deus Ex Machina. 1/2

Not that I blame the individual designers too much, they have to pump out so many crossovers in such a short period of time that of course they're not gonna be able to nail everything, just another symptom of the slop.

The FF crossover has been a bit disappointing as a crossover set which like,, if Magic is gonna fortnite can it at least do Fortnite well! Really bugs me that Y'shtola is an Esper 2/4, it feels like all they had to go off of was the visual design when Grixis would fit her sm more
