The government could change the law and shares be bought up over time for energy. First step would be to ensure no foreign owned companies could own. For water it could happen at little cost due to most of them not being going concerns without major bailouts.

None of us should be charged ridiculous amounts to make greater profits for greedy energy companies. Energy should be nationalised and everyone would be helped.
