Realizing that some of my inexplicable sadness about the Artemis II stuff is that it feels like a trans-dimensional communication from an America that took a different path and chose joy instead of fear and hate.

Screenshot of a Threads post and reply. From aplanatic.ali: "“Welcome back, we’re still here, they’re in space…” (something like that) will now become part of my frequently used quotes. I will be insufferable. Thank you @leahcheshier 😂" From leahcheshier: "I want to crawl in a HOLE!!! My producer told me he was back from a break and I thought I was talking to him 😅😭"

According to my post about it at the time, it happened just before 7:20 pm EDT on April 7.
Yes! That is what I’m looking for… not to find time stamp
Help?
There was this adorable Artemis II video I failed to save where someone (Koch? Young?) said something (super approximate) like "We're here, you're there, that's the. moon".
Can anyone help me find it, please?
It was eaten so fast that I think everyone agrees!
I did that yesterday with a cylinder! it is less like store bought…
Just something that would fit on my table.
A very intense Aussie stares at a gray rate through glass.
I am rat sitting and Stella has found something more interesting than Turtle TV.
Lap dog
Today I heard a Boomer call a manhole cover a theyhole cover because “everything just HAS to be politically correct now,” and I literally can’t stop thinking about it
If you're a trans woman who worked on Artemis, @starstryder.space & I would love to interview you for EVSN.tv! DM me here or email cosmoquestx@gmail.com to coordinate! We really want to shine a light on this issue.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
Yes!

They were also only gone 10 days. Can you imagine that wild helicopter hop after hundreds of days?
Here’s the story of one of them. Awful www.thestranger.com/forced-out/f...
This is so ducking true
NARRATOR: WE DID NOT IN FACT GET IT TOGETHER IN TIME
Elon Musk didn’t go to the moon.
Jeff Bezos didn’t go to the moon.
NASA went to the moon.
Current internal dialogue: do not sink. Do not ducking sink. You may not sink.
And this is why I’m not streaming.
We are not streaming entry on @cosmoquest.org because main stream media stressed me out and a friend is celebrating good news
Totally agree. But I look at all of them in hopes of dinosaurs and cool archeology
would honestly applaud for either
I'm used to the Christmas lull. I guess I had never previously noticed an Easter / spring break lull.
I try and remember that finding joy is a form of rebellion, and sharing joy is how we build community that endures.
Too many of us (looks in mirror) learned it's ok to trauma dump, but sharing joy is bragging and wrong.
Share. Your. Joy.
(Reminder that you have the bestest cutest doggos also)
There have been significantly fewer press releases on EurekAlert this week than normal. I don’t know if this is a reflection of people not wanting to release stories into the current new cycle, a reflection of Press offices getting cut, or a reflection of science getting cut… or all of the above.
