Absolutely loved this book! So technical and detailed (charts!! 😍) but at the same time heartfelt and engagingly written. Makes me want to reread LOTR and Sil (will have to wait for a time when I have less unread books on my TBR pile ... 😅)

“Joanne Anderton's Pixerina is a gripping study of an artist's compulsion to create and the effects it has on those caught in the wake of her reawakening a muse. The ending of this one left me shaken.”

“Atmospheric and whisperingly devastating, Pixerina trades jump scares for emotional unease, delivering a haunting that feels devastatingly real and all the more unnerving for it.”

I enjoyed this! It was a little odd, but I liked the way the stories pulled together into one bigger mystery.

Some more Pixerina inspiration from the Norman Lindsay gallery! These beautiful fierce women haunt and inhabit the gardens. They're mythological and real and every single one watches you as you wander past...
