I think it's the commodifying of a piece of media that started out as a criticism of the commodification of human life for entertainment. It's like if there was an official Hunger Games game announced by a stage full of people dressed as Peacekeepers.

I absolutely love Caplains work! He was one of the first inspirations for me to become an artist. I still get chills when I look at his concept art with Max in the hospital gown and the school bus.
