In today's Connecticut Post, Demand Progress Action & @fightforthefuture.org placed an ad asking why Dem Rep. Jim Himes is doing Trump & Stephen Miller's bidding by trying to get Democrats to support renewing FISA with no privacy reforms.

One of the things I noticed when studying AI is that it's potentially one of the most democratized techs in a long time. There is no moat. There's open source. You can run it locally. It's hard to lock down with IP protections because it relies on fair use to exist.

People yelled at me a few weeks ago when I suggested locally run open models were getting to be pretty powerful. But... it's true.
