I cannot see a good outcome. The most benign result I can imagine is people getting tests that aren’t indicated and looking to dr google or dr AI for a diagnosis. This will result in unnecessary waste in the actual medical system as terrified patients demand access.

I think we can be a bit more relaxed because there was never a legitimate alternative. I don’t love every action Carney making, but on the whole, in this current world, he’s the best that we can hope for. I think it’s perfectly legitimate to question actions of the government.
