Today is the birthday of artist Wayne W. Howard (March 29, 1949–Dec. 9, 2007). He started in fanzines & joined Wally Wood's studio in '69, but he is most remembered for his work at Charlton. He was the 1st creator to get "created by" credit on a cover for the series Midnight Tales.

At long last, we are publishing our casting calls for AU's WHM programming! A couple things of note: our event is taking place the first weekend of April. We wanted to not rush things and do it right. Second thing: we know these offerings are very small, but we wanted to take baby steps.
