Wonderful. I used to type stories on one as a kid too - not as old or impressive as this one though. I could have sworn I got it for my birthday one year but I found out just today that it was my mum and dad’s - I just happily “adopted it” for a while. Either way, I loved it! ☺️

Isn’t this beautiful? I couldn’t resist it when I saw it in our local second hand shop last week. It’s from 1930-31 according to a quick google search / serial no check. Now I just need to figure out how to restore it - although most mechanical parts do seem to be functioning so I have high hopes!
