Los Angeles moves toward ranked choice voting - FairVote The Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission recommended that the city adopt ranked choice voting to elect its mayor and City Council.

LA County might be moving toward replacing its primary/general system with a single ranked-choice vote in November. I’m sure it will get derailed somehow but I would
live to see it.
