It isn’t just being nice and giving things away to the “undeserving”*.

It works BETTER and is CHEAPER!

*someone you know works paycheck to paycheck and is vulnerable to homelessness right now.

Anyone who still has “huge respect” for JK Rowling after Everything she’s said and done has definitionally no respect for trans people

The fun part is, she’s saying this to the crooked politician rapid defence force, who all know very well it’s true and cannot freely discuss it without incriminating themselves

an UnHerd article titled "Am I allowed to hate fatherhood? A cancelled dad speaks out" and subtitled "Before I had children, I was horrified by the prevalence of fathers who walk out on their families. Today, am no longer confused by the phenomenon."

Today’s The Times Scotland front page with the top story “Cherry: SNP made me ashamed so I quit party”

Today’s The Times Scotland front page with the top story “Cherry: SNP made me ashamed so I quit party”

Hey the Times, I quit a political party over trans issues and have a book to promote, can I have a front page spread?

Oh, that’s only reserved for transphobes and not trans people? Never mind.

Green MP: Labour caricatures working-class people over greyhound racing Hannah Spencer says minister ‘continuously offends people by saying working-class people don’t care about dogs’

Hannah added: “I get offended when I hear the argument made that it is working class. Working-class people are fed up with gambling companies being able to wreak havoc in people’s lives.”

#RailNatter is one of YouTube's liveliest transport blogs. Its host Gareth Dennis spoke with CATCH-cast last year and proved such a popular listen on our podcast platform that we've brought him back for another chance to hear on #WorldTransportDay. www.vectisradio.com/on-air/prese...

Links between railways and slavery to be explored in new research project Universities and museums across Yorkshire and the North of England will explore the links between the railways and the global slave trade as part of a new research project.

Ha, that one is good as well!! #HowTheRailwaysWillFixTheFuture covers it in some detail, but there's another research project in the pipeline that will go into much greater detail on the subject.

(first one kicked off in 2021 with NRM/York uni inspired by my writing: www.york.ac.uk/news-and-eve...)

Ciara and Callum quote as co-chairs of the young greens.

WOW.

Our @younggreens.bsky.social now have 50,000 members - they are the biggest political youth movement in the UK.

And we're growing. Every single day I am meeting more young greens out on the streets campaigning.

This is how we make change happen.

it's so depressing given there isn't that long a list of things you could do to fix it

2 days ago 5 0 0 0

I wonder in which ways you could translate that? The UK has a fully actualised rentier economy? The UK is run by middle managers and accountants? We owe as many billions in debt to PFI contracts as to the bond markets? We've destroyed the parts of the state that are actually useful to humans?

if you're being served this in the MIDDLE EAST surrounded by some of the best food humanity has ever conceived of, you're not just on the losing side, you've lost in ways the English language cannot describe
