His family left him behind but he never stopped waiting for them to come back.
But that was his past. Look at him now. Perfection

The appeal of Harry and Meghan to Australians becomes easier to understand. They do not ask for the deference of an increasingly diminished institution

I'm just relieved nobody is talking about how I said I bought a house in Clacton, then admitted it was in the name of my girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, even though she couldn't afford £885,000, which conveniently meant I avoided £44,000 in tax.
Please don't share.
Not to be seen on the BBC TV News, doesn’t suit their agenda .
Also not to be seen in the Telegraph, Express, Mail, Sun, etc.
And nowadays not in the Guardian either.
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Hey @pippacrerar.bsky.social
Hey @theguardian.com
So do we now know in whose interest this story was broken?
Any comment?
We all know why he did it, because of Trump. Not for personal gain, not for money but because he thought this would help the country, i.e. help us all.
Totally different from May solving a party problem with Johnson or Johnson getting God know’s what for Lebedev’s peerage (both failed vetting)
"Low-income households will get [free] plug-in solar panels to cut their energy bills, the Government has announced."
This is how you do a just transition.

Lies Industry UK - Two posts from the “Lies Industry UK” side by side after the grilling of civil servant Robbins in Parliament. One from a ITV journo — Brand — and one from a Daily Mail shit-stirrer, Hodges. Both saying the exact opposite. You just can’t trust what you see or read in the media.
Among the Brexit disagreements that will be never be resolved is whether Olly Robbins was a courageous negotiator undermined by politicians or woefully out of his depth in failing to understand how negotiations or the EU work.
At any rate there were already serious question marks.
Telegraph newspaper editorial on Mandelson's appointment in December 2024 versus editorial today
Robbins does at least corroborate PM's claim that no minister was told of the vetting issue with Mandelson. He confirms he did not share it with them.
Solar generates electricity in daylight Nick, it doesn’t only work in ‘sunlight’
If you interviewed more experts & fewer commentators, you’d probably know that

"COVID vaccines tied to less hospital care, long COVID, and economic burden."
"People vaccinated against COVID in Germany in 2023 experienced reduced hospitalization rates, fewer long-COVID diagnoses, and lower all-cause mortality than those who weren't vaccinated, according to a new study"
“Farage rarely turns up to do his actual job. Yet he finds time to jet off around the world on his donor’s private plane and trouser half a million quid while families struggle. Reform are not on your side. They’re just in it for themselves”
It’s so obvious, it hurts.

Despite the media desperate to destabilise a Labour govt they have NOTHING on which to do that .Starmer was NOT told, so now they say yea but he should not have appointed him.. except the very SAME media was praising the appointment and opposition parties had no complaints then ! Don’t let them win!
OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.
Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.
(h/t @iainsol.bsky.social)
Labour MPs need to realise this isn’t about getting rid of Starmer it’s about destabilising the Labour govt and getting rid of all of you .. for Nigel and his mates ! The media have been on overdrive on this since July 24 .. it’s the latest attempt but not the last !
In other news today the United Kingdom has regained its position as the fifth largest economy in the world, according to the latest figures

No Conservative should be allowed to speak on this matter without being reminded that Boris Johnson failed his security vetting, yet the Tories appointed him to be Foreign Minister and then Prime Minister.

So how did The Guardian get the info on Mandelson?
Surely Pippa Crerar’s partner, who works in the foreign office, had nothing to do with it?
Nah …..
Problems we needlessly created in the Middle East can’t be fixed by sending in underqualified, inexperienced bafoons who don’t know what they’re doing.
Kinda like electing a corrupt, lying felon as President.
Seriously, did anyone think anything was gonna go well for us by doing this?

Presumably Chris Mason will be reporting on the calls for Tice to resign over his tax
f̶r̶a̶u̶d̶ affairs?
Richard Tice deputy leader of Reform ran four shell companies which did not pay any tax on profits between 2020 and 2022.
He's now offering to "put things right".
Go on then Richard - resign.

Impressive (observer.co.uk/news/nationa...)
Richard Tice apparently does not think that Richard Tice should resign over the incredible amount of tax found to be owed, despite calling for Angela Raynor to do just that over something objectively much, much smaller if she had "any moral decency"...

On the left is the front page of The Guardian when political editor Crerar hates Keir Starmer. On the right is what the front page would look like if she would hate Farage.
The media hate the Labour Government we elected and hate the Labour Party
They want the Tories/Reform back in power, this is obvious. The media ignores and hides and covers up Tory failures while calling for the resignation of Labour Ministers for lesser transgression
It's a war and we're losing
Well I never!
