Huge crowds today in IL! Everyone around me was peaceful and kind. There was a feeling of collective relief to see so many others willing to stand up and speak out for democracy and against fascism. There may be hope for us all.

I don’t watch a lot of late night comedy, but I watched tonight. Jimmy Kimmel had intense pressure on his shoulders to make the most of his high-profile return. He rose to the occasion with courage, grace and, of course, humor. He made me feel a glimmer of hope for the future of this country.
