It is So Much. I hope you’re able to find some gentleness in your day, friend. 💜🫂
One of the most incredible things about people buying into this moral panic is believing that there is anything in the American healthcare system outside of an ER that is done quickly.
hey friends! can we raise $1600 to pay the rent for an ICE-impacted family?

@margaret.bsky.social introduced me to the idea of “radical sincerity” in her podcast. Stop trying to fight them with irony. Let go of your detachment and fight them with your whole, honest self.
This is what Potter money pays for. Why pay money to watch pretend heroes when you’re propping up a villain in real life?
fucking frey used data that we said was bad and it was. minneapolis’s eviction rate is rising at an alarming rate. as we said would happen if there wasn’t extra time given.
if you were sharing mutual aid posts and stopped, probably think about restarting. maybe it is time to finally adopt a rent?
This made it out of committee. You do NOT want to let it go to a vote. Go make your voice heard right now right now
We've got way more need than donors today and eviction notices are starting to arrive. Can you sign a form to pay a rent directly or can you venmo us so our team of volunteers can pay more rents?!🌻
hey peeps, @kraehenherz.bsky.social and I would like to move in 1.5 months and since we are both disabled it will cost a lot of money. would really appreciate if you all could share and/or contribute here ko-fi.com/kraehenherz/...
It’s day 89 of the ICE occupation of MN.
It may seem as if everyone in MN is furiously raising rent for our neighbors, trying to prevent a massive eviction crisis on top of the federal occupation.
That’s because Minnesotans know that we keep each other safe, and no one is coming to save us.
Someone was abducted in St Anthony this morning at 6 AM near 29th Ave & Silver Lake Road. And then at 8 AM we saw at least 5 agents out of their vehicles at 26th & Jackson near Walgreens before they dispersed into the neighborhood.
This isn’t over. We still need people keeping watch & staying safe.
Art matters. And what do we do with things that matter? We protect them.
Here is information about H.R. 7661, a US book banning bill that explicitly targets books about trans people, and what you can do right now to help stop it.
I know it’s difficult right now, but I insist that you seek and enjoy beautiful things, even if it seems frivolous or irresponsible in the face of overwhelming horror. I want you to feed yourself artistically, spiritually, and literally, because you can’t Do The Work when you’re starving.
Here's the thing: fuck the fucking fuckers. We stay alive so we can dance on their fucking graves.
MAKE AN EMERGENCY DONATION to Trans Continental Pipeline right now.
They are a Colorado based org that helps trans people relocate there and they are overwhelmed with requests. CO borders KS, and TCP has the infrastructure to help get people out.
GO DONATE.

People in a lot of neighborhoods are about to be evicted if @governorwalz.mn.gov doesn’t do an eviction moratorium. Ice still has almost 1000 people here.
Things are definitely not back to normal. This is why mainstream news is propaganda.
New: this app warns you if someone is wearing smart glasses nearby.
Meta plans to add facial recognition to its Ray-Ban smart glasses. A 404 Media reader made this app after we showed men filming people w/o their consent, and DHS officials were wearing the glasses www.404media.co/this-app-war...
We once met a wiry haired doggo aptly named Socket. He truly looked like he’d stuck his nose in an electrical outlet.
Fascism is here and yet we insist on continuing to make things. Keep creating. It's so important. Do not let the fascists colonize your imagination or curtail your creativity.
“You now live in a country where volunteers deliver babies at home, in secret, off the books, because mothers fear that if they go to the hospital, they will be abducted by masked, armed agents of the state while giving birth.”
TRANSCRIPT OF CARTOON This cartoon has four panels, each showing a different scene. In addition, there’s a small “kicker” panel under the fourth panel. PANEL 1 The panel shows a counter at a fast food restaurant. We can see a couple of customers, and a couple of workers. The workers are wearing hats that very vaguely resemble hamburger buns. A sign on the wall shows a smiling hamburger with eyes, below the caption “Soilent Green YUM.” A smaller sign says “SAFETY” in larger letters followed by tiny print, which says “is a word we use a lot so you can’t sue us.” The worker at the cash register is turning to speak directly to the reader. WORKER: To get an official photo I.D., I have to go to the nearest government office, which is 90 miles away, and I don’t have a car, and even if I did my boss won’t give me a weekday off. PANEL 2 We’re in what looks like someone’s back yard. In the foreground is a garden, with some sort of plant being grown in tidy rows. An elderly woman is kneeling on the ground in front of the garden, wearing a floppy straw hat, an apron with a floral patter, and holding a trowel. She speaks directly to the reader. WOMAN: I can’t get I.D. without a birth certificate. But when I was born home births didn’t get birth certificates. PANEL 3 A mover wearing jeans and a black tank top is carrying a sofa as he’s talking to the reader. MOVER: The state charges $60 for a driver’s license…. but first I’d need a copy of my birth certificate, which is $30. I can’t afford 90 dollars to vote! PANEL 4 This panel shows the interior of a coffee shop. A man and a woman sit together at a table. They're both looking at their devices, him annoyed, her dismissive. MAN: Why wouldn’t anyone be able to get an I.D.? Idiots! WOMAN: People like that don’t deserve to vote. SMALL KICKER PANEL UNDER THE BOTTOM OF THE CARTOON The man from panel 4 yelling at Barry MAN: If it’s easy for me it must be easy for everybody! That’s just science!

...if you say "vote blue no matter who", yet never say "let's not throw members of our own coalition under the bus", I seriously don't know what's wrong with you.
I'll end by re-upping this. dumping trans ppl is way more likely to hurt (rather than help) Dems:

Community is literally the cure.
No, bitch.
Worrying about kids playing a ttrpg with orcs and elves or listening to metal (or hip hop) is moral panic
Raping stolen children is a moral evil.
And it is literally only my long-held beliefs against the death penalty keeping me from burning every one of you at the stake.
This!
I give a wide bit of leeway to people, but don't use this as an excuse to be transphobic.
Basic electoral logistics is that there are persuadable and mobilizable voters. Last election, Dems under-mobilized our base even though Dems and the GOP persuaded about the same number.
Sort of gives away the lie that they're arresting hardened criminals who are drags on society when they're setting up traps to lure in Good Samaritans
For no particular reason, thinking about how the Minneapolis Aquatennial was concocted by business men in 1940 to water down the memory of a 1934 Union victory that happened in spite of violent and deadly opposition
