I read a lot of messages in my chat room and I noticed a few suffer from social anxiety. I know how that is. I haven’t been out in public in about 5 years, 15 years since I was with friends. It’s not easy even online. I’ve torched galleries and went into hiding more times I can count x3

Been trying to get into drawing with more physical media lately...you'd think it wouldn't be hard to find a surface made for soft pastels, given how prevalent soft pastels themselves are in stores.

Stolas, his glasses removed, is firing beams of energy from where his eyes should be, with a "PYOOM!" (His eyes are still where they would be on his glasses.) Enfer and Furcas's feet are visible as they've fallen over, knocked out by Stolas' energy-beam eyes, as indicated by the "KO" over them. Stolas: "Oh dear..."

And have an alternate ending, while I'm at it!

Enfer and Furcas are having a conversation while Stolas sits at a desk in the background. Enfer: "Furcas, you've seen Stolas without his glasses, right?" Furcas: "Actually, never, now that you mention it."

Furcas addresses Stolas at his desk. Furcas: "Pardon, Stolas, but what do you look like without your glasses?"

Stolas takes hold of his glasses, about to pull them off. Stolas: "Well..." Enfer and Furcas (in small-headshot) are in enraptured awe of what Stolas' eyes might look like. Enfer imagines his eyes are small and beady, while Furcas imagines the lack of glasses turns Stolas into an anime pretty-boy. (Complete with nose, mouth, and chin.) In small Italics text, the two speculate on his appearance. "Is he birb?" "Is he handsome?" "The tension is too much!" "The greatest mystery of the last ten seconds, revealed!" "This is it!" "How are we so invested in this?"

On the right, Stolas has removed his glasses, to reveal that he has no eyes on his face at all - his eyes are in his glasses. Action text emphasizes this with a bold "NOTHING!" On the left, Enfer and Stolas's feet are visible as they fall over with a "WHUMP," having comically fainted from the reveal. Stolas: "Perhaps they deserved some forewarning..."

lol, remember when I said this and then basically started posting underwear and that was it?
It's like saying "Oh, yeah, I like spicy food," then proving it by biting into a bell pepper.

Anyway, my point is:
1. A gift is a gift, not a business transaction.
2. It's okay to say "No."
3. Martyring yourself does not make it better.

Don't you hate it when you try to give someone a gift, but something beyond their control stops them from accepting it, then they try and give you money for the gift, so you try to give it back via commissioning them, but then they become overwhelmed from you doing so?
