Why can't Americans stop referring to the Democratic Party as "the Left." Just stop.

The Democrats are a center-right capitalist party. This is not new, it's not news.

This isn't a purity test. The Left *begins* at anti-capitalism. Even the DSA isn't really Left-wing.

Observations from the Criminal "Justice" system: A thousand pages of rules don't matter when the first rule is that one person can arbitrarily overrule all the other rules.

Observations from festival production: a friendly audience and a popular event can reward an incompetent management team for bad behavior. People might have loved your event, but that doesn't mean you did a good job.

So, like... Every time I look at Threads, the only responses to any--usually innocuous--personal anecdote that anyone posts seems to be "didn't happen" or something equivalent...

Is this the case here? If not, why is it on Threads? If so, why are people like that?
