As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to “save” the country as they see fit

How to be a critical thinker:

1. Be 10% more skeptical of people you agree with—and 10% more charitable to those you disagree with

2. Find flaws in ideas you like—and strengths in views you dislike

3. Discount sources that peddle one narrative—and learn from those that explore competing ideas

If the goal of ‘DOGE’ were truly to expose corruption and save taxpayer money it wouldn’t have been preceded by the unlawful firing of 18 Inspectors General whose job it is to expose corruption and save taxpayer money.

What sucks about this is small contractors cannot make a living using ACE as their primary materials supplier. The costs are substantially higher and the ones in our town don't sell building materials like lumber. I hate it here.

Yes, like I read ACOTAR and really did enjoy them. But for the life of me, I cannot get into a single other thing SJM has written. No shade to her - it's apparently not my jam 🤷‍♀️

I said something similar to my AP English teacher and I was all but tossed from the classroom.

This explanation made sense to me and I accepted it. Unfollowed all. Checked again a few hours later out of curiosity and I was following them all. I blocked Flotus, again out of curiosity, and unfollowed all again. Not only had she been unblocked, but I was following her and VP again.

The problem was that my spouse and kid started a bunch of seeds and they all made it & it felt wrong not to plant them all, which is what happens to us every year. 😆 We simply don't learn.

Yes, we were both aware that many plants were too many, especially for a family of 4 with one kid who hats tomatoes and 2 adults who can't eat too many due to heartburn. Luckily we have family & friends to share with & are good at canning and dehydrating.

Same and for the same reason.

Bigger, always, bigger

What insight. I have thought the same, but then I keep seeing seeds and plants and I simply cannot stop myself.

Fewer tomatoes. My spouse planted 18 plants last year. Far too many. I'm also doing flowers. Lots of flowers. They made me so happy last year, so I'm planning on doing so many more.

How many politicians do you know who actually want to have meaningful conversations with their constituents?

My roommate was so mad at Metallica that she spent every single day downloading as many Metallica songs as possible & deleting them again at the end of the day on repeat.
