Is the Vernal equinox within a week?
Yup.
Then it's time for "expect a dusting" to turn into "fuck I gotta shovel again".

In the pre dawn light, through the windows of the car of the Duquesne Incline; the city echoes the colors of some of Van Gogh's paintings.

They don't care where the oil goes. They care where the profits go and would rather that be Exxon Mobile

I went to see the Rocky Horror stage show for the first time at a nice theater in Irwin, PA. And I found a cool and got to soak in a hot tub looking at pretty fall foliage.
Overall a nice Halloween spent out with friends.

2 more reasons I feel blessed to live where I do. I stopped to record sound-scapes on my walk to the city center. Maybe ¾ of a mile as the crow flies? & Here's the symphony birds, cicada, crickets. & yeah. air conditioners running everywhere. That's a lot of wild sounds in a city. I love it.

Even though this is sunrise, it looks like a molten ball slowly sinking into a lake. The sun can really look beautiful on my morning walks

Arepittas a great small restaurant in Pittsburgh. Everything here is delicious. It's Venezuelan food & you have my sympathy if you've never had pabellon or arepa. immigrants are so important to the USA & to Pittsburgh. It keeps the pulse fresh & the tongue dancing.

I guess they don't feel; but nothing will be gained by rubbing noses in it. We've all fucked up at some time. I have. I'll help fight for the Palestinian cause anyhow.

Because it's just.

Like I fight anti semitism, knowing too many Jewish folks who voted Trump bcz he's tight w/ Bibi.

Hey if anyone is considering backing up any datasets for some reason today, the Open Science Framework has free storage up to 5G/private repository, and up to 50G/public repository.

(The OSF is run by a 501c3 (Center for Open Science), so if you do this you might also consider making a donation.)

On the left, a wide bowl of deep, orangey-red tomato Bisque, with a drizzle of deep red Sriracha scattered across it, beside a plate with a whole grain bread sandwich with grilled mushrooms incorporated into the grilled cheese.

Tomato bisque and a bespoke grilled cheese sandwich. Comfort food for dinner, with a little drizzle of Sriracha for a bit of a kick.

First snow flurries of the season clinging to the grass and some plants in a garden with small, slender Christmas tree and a round sign like an ornament saying "Merry Christmas".

I know... It's not Thanksgiving yet... But on my walk home, it was the first snow of the season and it was sticking to the plants and grass and I came upon this scene.
