Do you see that tiny dot in the left hand of the screen? I am almost sure that it is clipperton. I dont know how these charts work but all the arrows are pointing that way so i feel like the struck were moving along those currents

Sorry. They dont each have an EEZ of 200. The point is about the strike being between their EEZ’s.

I also found that the island Clipperton in french polynesia has an EEZ of 200 nautical miles as does acapulco.

The strike probably took place in the international waters between Clipperton and Acapulco, but on the side closer to Mexico

Location of a recent US strike 400 miles southwest off the coast of Acapulco.

The arc of the bottom left quadrant delimits the strike’s potential locations.

It should be noted that all the difficulties Hoxha describes are external. Now, I think that if someone wants to argue the causes for restoration in Albania were significantly external, I can accept that. Albania was under pressure from all sides. But to ignore internal contradictions is

Q: Monsieur First Secretary, you are a great figure. De Gaulle once told me that there were two people he admired in his time: Enver Hoxha and Boumedienne, although the latter had been his enemy.

According to the article, Hoxha did acknowledge difficulties in Albania, in this interview. ml-review.ca/aml/Albania/...

But there’s no direct discussion by hoxha of the dangers of capitalist restoration even in abstract, let alone of the inner party bourgeoisie. Not in the interview.

reasons for the causes of the fall of socialism in the People’s Socialist Republic of Albania.”
I dont know if all the critiques are really fair, some are kinda rightist. But it is a detailed analysis which gives some idea of the cracks in the albanian socialist system.

I just found one article which does deal with the restoration of capitalism in albania. mlrg.online/history/alba...

I found it on woodsmoke woodsmokeblog.wordpress.com/2025/07/29/s... which describes it as “to our knowledge, one of only a few articles where Marxist-Leninists have grappled with the

Id like to see examples of hoxhaists dealing with this issue. Or, really, any explanation of the restoration of capitalism in albania. I dont know why it isnt taken more seriously by all marxist leninists, to explain exactly the economic and political basis for that restoration.

It seems like Hoxha basically failed to predict capitalist restoration in Albania. Or even misled his party to believe it was very difficult if not impossible. And that hoxhaist groups don’t really take this question seriously. At least not as much as Maoism. Maybe im wrong.

But I want to understand how it happened.

How did capitalism get restored in Albania? Hoxhaists seem embarrassed to discuss this.

When deng xihui proposed a capitalist restoration in agriculture, mao asked him what are the political implications of such policies. he couldnt answer, leading to mao lecturing him for an hour and a half about the necessity for continuing revolution.

“The economic basis for the complete withering away of the state is such a high state of development of communism.”

Not development in general.

We must, know how to use cadres well. In the final analysis, leadership involves two main responsibilities: to work out ideas, and to use cadres well. Such things as drawing up plans, making decisions, and giving orders and directives, are all in the category of "working out ideas".

To put the ideas into practice, we must weld the cadres together and encourage them to go into action; this comes into the category of "using the cadres well".

Engels: “The only war left for Prussia-Germany to wage will be a world war… Eight to ten million soldiers will be at each other’s throats and in the process they will strip Europe barer than a swarm of locusts”

For this to happen you only need 51% with zero return and nothing else to draw on. 95% is overkill and it never happened with rail and steam.

I dont think the steam engine is a good comparison. This never happened with the steam engine.
