In my thinking about having less US Big Tech reliance I've gone past considering setting up a Home Assistant Green to add a Pi Hole right up to now considering buying a powerful efficient Mini PC that can do both those things plus run local LLM models for coding and for the Home Assistant.
Capitalism never uses productivity to pay for leisure. It only uses it to pay for more productivity.
We have leisure because of unions, not because of productivity.
(i.e., AI will not result in a 4-day workweek.)
