Teach quotation, summary, paraphrase, citation at the beginning of every class, first activity after syllabus overview. Logic of citation, being able to retrace scholarly steps, replicate their work.

I’ve turned my snark to a 10. Every time I get an email suggesting I should be interested in some hard science thing, some mega powered physics, or quantum or whatever, I'm replying,
"I would like to know if any
Indigenous people are involved, so l can support them."
How will you imagine freedom today?
