Been watching Adventure Time again.

Not this one.
Still on the fence about buying Doom: Dark Ages, so I started playing Witchfire instead. It's pretty cool but I didn't know what an extraction shooter was.
Got some gray hairs in my beard. It's over for me.
My preferred management style:
"Do something that fits this vague description. See ya in a few months."
I don't have a background in business or management type stuff, so managing people is very painful for me and I hate it. But it's hard to find people to work with who are pro-active and don't need any supervision. Will definitely hold on to those ones.
I make one purchase on Amazon JP and now I'm getting tons of Japanese scam emails trying to steal my account. Great.
The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.
Same.
I need to use spreadsheets more.
I've been terribly disorganised with the amount of people I need to email.
I would buy a PSVR2 if they made another Astro Bot VR game.
Re-watched 1917. I really enjoyed the long shots - the movie overall looks fantastic and I respect the amount of work that went into the practical effects.
Bro my own code leaves me in a morass of technical debt.
And a lot of coding is "Google plz tell me how to solve this common problem that has been solved 1000 times already".
Artist and programmer here.
There's some bits of code that I'm proud of and like to keep tidy because I know I'll likely re-visit it in the future.
But the majority of my code is stuff that I never want to look at again, and just want it to work ASAP. Probably many feel the same way.
Yeah, this is why I always tell my friends: I'm going to gamble now, don't do this.
Finally got round to watching All Quiet on the Western Front. Still a powerful and devastating story, but I don't like that they changed and cut some important parts from the book.
I don't try to time the market very often, but my success rate is 0%. Put your money in an index fund and do nothing.
Spent way more time on Steam items than I usually do. Even localised them to Asian languages. Hope it'll be worth it.
Here's what I'm thinking for the animated avatars. I'll make like 8 of these.
(it took me way too long to get this to loop, I forgot how my tween code works)
Spending too much time on these Steam items...
Adding scanlines to make my backgrounds look grainy on purpose, since Valve forces you to upload a low quality jpeg in 2026.
OH MY GOD again
Gonna go with something like this for all the Steam profile backgrounds. They have to be dark so I'm limited to night time scenes.
"hey, we're making tax digital to improve record keeping - the people most likely to be keeping bad records don't need to use it"
UK government lets you avoid using tax software if you have religious reasons against computers WHAT
What, no, Valve makes you upload a jpeg.
Very cute icons!
I've been drawing something similar recently... and keeping them stylish but clear has been challenging.
It's really cool that Steam trading cards let you see the image in 1920x1080 wallpaper resolution.
And it's really crappy that the filesize limit is 350kb, so you get all the jpeg artifacts.
Valve should really update that.
That's insane.
Horror stories like these are why I still do tax stuff myself.
In the end it's still my responsibility even if I pay someone else.
