Currently wondering if there’s a way I can combine this with AI to write a grant that would get funded by NSF in this world.

Burchett is right: the most DC thing ever *is* a member of Congress blaming the city for something he and his colleagues did themselves.

Trump admin agrees to pay $1.25M to 2016 Trump adviser over surveillance DOJ OK'd the settlement with Carter Page, but he could still press claims against ex-officials.

A new wholly corrupt settlement handing your money to Trump cronies.

It’s notable for several reasons:

Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia—

AOC: Wah wah wah.

We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no.

What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over.

In some private meetings, Scott at times has appeared to briefly embrace ideas that go against his party's long-held policy positions, only to be corrected by staff, according to four of the people who've spoken with Scott in recent months. Scott also frequently leaves Agriculture Committee hearings early and never returns, which is unusual for a ranking member.
Former Scott aides note that he is carefully guarded by staff, and that his personal chief of staff, Catherine Harney, exerts what they view as an unusual amount of control over the workings of the Agriculture Committee minority. Some Democratic members of the committee have become frustrated that they're often only allowed to speak to Harney about key panel issues, rather than Scott himself, according to lawmakers and former aides.

Like... look at this shit. People will reply like, "Yeah, well the voters make the decisions!" What they don't seem to realize is that these octogenarians aren't actually the one doing any of the work at this point: they're being puppeted by unelected staffers. www.politico.com/news/2024/02...

Covid-19 vaccines roughly halved the chances that a US adult would need to visit the emergency room or be hospitalized with their infections last fall and winter, according to sources. But you won’t hear about it from the agency that led the research: the CDC. https://cnn.it/4dY5Yy5

If Republicans hate the CA and VA redistricting, they can thank the person responsible - Donald J. Trump.

None of it would’ve been possible without his leadership on this issue.

CDC won’t publish report showing covid shots cut likelihood of hospital visits The report, which had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won’t be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

SCOOP: Two weeks ago, the head of the CDC delayed publication of a report showing covid vaccine cut likelihood of ER visits and hospitalizations by half. Now that report is no longer allowed to be published in CDC’s flagship scientific journal. My latest. 1/2

You'll never believe what this speaker--now cancelled thanks to "free speech" warriors like TPUSA & Sen. Mike Lee--posted about Charlie Kirk.

She said she was "gutted" by his murder. She described it as "horrific" and said it "should have never happened." And then she went on to post Kirk's words.

How can the Democrats not like how the U.S. Supreme Court votes. The Democrat Justices stick together like glue, NEVER failing to wander from the warped and perverse policies, ideas, and cases put before them. They ALWAYS vote as a group, or BLOCK, even that new, Low IQ person, that somehow found her way to the bench (Sleepy Joe!). The Republican Justices don’t stick together, they give the Democrats win after win, like a 159 Billion Dollar pile of cash on a completely ridiculous Tariff decision, and nasty, one sided questions on the country destroying subject of Birthright Citizenship, something which virtually NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IS STUPID ENOUGH TO ALLOW. It was meant for the babies of slaves, not for the babies of Chinese Billionaires. No, certain “Republican” Justices have just gone weak, stupid, and bad, completely violating what they “supposedly” stood for. Handing over 159 Billion Dollars in Tariff refunds to people who have been Ripping Off our Country for years, is unexplainable. One little sentence would have stoped this record setting payment from having to be made. It is a travesty! Their Tariff decision was an unnecessary and expensive slap in the face to the U.S.A., and a giant victory for its opponents. If they rule against our Country on Birthright Citizenship, which they probably will, it will be even worse, if that’s possible. It will cost America massive amounts of money but, more importantly, it will cost America its DIGNITY! No, the Radical Left Democrats don’t need to “Pack the Court,” it’s already Packed! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Obviously Bhattacharya is a hypocritical hack. That’s who he is, it’s priced in, so I’m not so angry at him. I’m mostly angry at the useful idiots who accepted and promoted the “he’s part of a new generation of freethinkers open to new ideas” bullshit.
