Eventually it broke the coin slot because of dried up gum. My friend got confronted by owner and learned I did it. Next time I was there the owner gave me a lecture. I apologized but he said I was banned for life (like Pete Rose). Owner eventually let me back in tho

Along the same lines, I got banned from the local hotdog restaurant cuz they had a 1 cent gum ball machine and if you got a stripped gum ball, they gave a free soda and fries. I would buy one gum ball, chew it, then cover a penny gum and stick it in the coin slot. I got 20 gum balls b4 it fell out.

As a kid, I showed my younger brother how to reach his little arm into the plastic bubble toy vending machine to grab a toy for free. Months later he did it when he was out shopping with our mom and got his arm stuck. His arm probably grew bigger. They had to call the fire dept 😂
