Life update: I started my new job this week 🎉
A selfie of Taylor standing in front of the doors of Moscone Center. A large banner above the doors says “GDC GDC GDC GDC.”
Just like that GDC is over. What an incredible week. I didn’t expect to feel so emotional saying goodbye!
Arrived in SF and my Uber is an Escalade!! I feel like Miley Cyrus in the Party in the USA music video
GDC is upon us! I fly out tomorrow. Will I survive more in-person networking/socializing in 1 week than I’ve done in the last 4 years combined? Be kind to us introverts, San Francisco. 😂
Received word today that I made it to the 4th and final interview next week. 😱 Pls send any and all final round interview tips my way cause my nerves have made all knowledge leave my brain.
Toddler has a mystery illness and was up alllll night. Today I have a 3rd-round interview. Let’s hope my sleepy brain cooperates.
I’ll be a CA this year so I’ll be donning the neon shirt for part of my day, but outside of that I have no specific agenda other than to attend some talks and network with folks. Would you say some graphic tees + jeans would be appropriate for that?
What about like, band tees 👀 or do I need to be getting some plain t-shirts haha
I’m definitely a jeans + t-shirt person so this is a relief to hear. 😂 Thank you!
Game devs, what do you wear to GDC? My closet is entirely crewneck sweatshirts and oversized graphic tees. Help me!
Currently snowed in so we're having a family video game day. We're introducing my son to Spyro! So far he just likes to walk around and repeatedly spit fireballs. 😂

An infographic with a light blue-pink gradient and a photo of Taylor on the left. On the right in large block lettering it says “Hi! I’m Taylor.” Below is a bullet point list that reads: Game Producer/Project Manager, 2023 IGDA Foundation VE Grantee (Velocity cohort), Indie Game Academy Level 3 Graduate, TTRPG Writer & Project Manager @ Daylight Publications, B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies.”
It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so I made a little graphic. 😁 I got to do a lot of cool game dev things in 2023. Hoping for even more in 2024!
Occasionally I'm asked to recommend cover artists for variants. If you're cover artist looking for work in 2024, please drop your website or portfolio link. 👇

Guiding Light game logo with the main character holding up a sentient lantern toward the viewer. The whole image has a pinkish wash over it.
I am so incredibly excited to announce the initial release of the first game I've officially worked on! Guiding Light is a blind-accessible, narrative-driven game about death and what comes after. candlesticklibrary.itch.io/guiding-light
It’s so rainy and windy outside. All I want to do is make hot cocoa and watch something spooky.
Why is my toddler crying, you ask?
Because I gave him chicken nuggets instead of allowing him to eat dog food.
😅
It’s the last day of the IGDA Foundation’s Virtual Exchange already! 6 weeks flew right by.
100% agree!!
