and as for GCaMP 2P spectrum, i double checked... there's no record in the revision history of GCaMP ever having a 2P spectrum. In any case, the answer to "is there a way to add"... is always that users can always submit spectra at www.fpbase.org/spectra/subm...

i think you might be mis-remembering? we've never had the ability to *search* dyes by 2p availability... (but you may need to uncheck 2p from exclude subtypes if you want them to be visible by default?)

The FPbase spectra viewer just had it's biggest software refactor in 6 years. It *should* be largely invisible to the end user (hopefully just faster and less buggy). Please let me know if you find any issues as you use it!
