@parkroseperma.bsky.social just a thought. My MIL has this wonderful idea to write postcards thanking those that are doing the right things. It exposes the message to not only the recipient, but to everyone in the message chain to those words. Postage is cheaper, too!
I'm afraid we're being set up. If they blame this (killing of Mr. Kirk) on the ideology of the left, then outside threats know they will always be influenced by their own bias. Will foreign threats seize that opportunity to target more conservatives, only for the response to target the "other".

If Americans (US) believe in exceptionalism, then they should not punch down. Blaming others below your status shows weakness, the opposite of exceptional. Exceptional people do exceptional things.
