Given the same color temperature settings, the light on the left shows a correctly warmish yellow while the light on the right is having its own idea and shows much whiter light.

Note to myself: just don’t buy anything open box from BestBuy for anything with activation lock. It’s not worth it. πŸ₯Ά

The Digital ID platform also actually support Passkey for mobile use cases. (You will use the NFC-capable card to verify yourself for the first time then MOICA will sign a P…

A Firefox window showing Passkey support for 3D Secure verification for a Taiwanese credit card

Really love that Passkey is starting to gain support in Taiwanese banks! It used to be a pain if I want to use a Taiwanese credit cards since I'll need to use my Taiwanese number to get a SMS code for 3D Secure but now I can just use Passkeys to verify myself!

I've been recently very into NixOS for some reason 🫣 IIRC trying it out two years ago was pretty painful but now it seems declarative configuration gets me pretty far.

Your Own LTE Network at Home Do you know that you can actually run your own LTE network at home? In the US, there’s a CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) band that is designed to be shared which correspond to LTE band 48.

Wrote about my own setup experience here: itsze.ro/posts/your-o...

Okay I know I’m weird but I love that ZΓΌrich tram’s stop announcement sounds exactly like SF Muni’s outbound train tone 😍 (although I love the inbound womp-womp tone more lol)

Looks like Switch 2 still does NOT support USB-C DP Alt mode β€” you'd still need to carry a dock with you for TV output :(

The story was packed, thrilling and the twist is full of surprises despite constantly giving out little pieces of info. I love the darker tone of the story and ending as it deals with comple…

That sounds like an incredibly bad move. Why don't we push for allowing every manufacturer to direct sell their cars to customers?electrek.co/2025/04/28/ny-lawmakers-... do not like Elon Musk but I do drive a 2018 Model 3 and still like the car, so there's that.)
