Good news! We found the cats a home! But they still need a foster home for the next month! Please help us spread the word so we can find a good foster home for them!
When the topic turns to "what comes next" and "what should we do," we should defer to historians in the same way we defer to doctors on vaccines, lawyers on criminal defense and military generals on strategy and tactics.
They're going to tell us stuff like this and it's vital to America's future.
A large black cat sitting on the armrest of a chair with his paws dangling straight down in front of him
Just thought you should know my in-laws’ cat sits like this
If I hang out with the cats until late enough, I get to hear the owls gossiping outside.
Night night sweet dreamies
The kindness and strength you see in others?
They’re reflections of the same qualities shining inside you.
Really glad you’re ok.
I think early childhood neglect is very serious & can produce people with serious impairment at giving & receiving love, because they were not given love that is their human right & necessity.
Gonna spend the next two years spamming every elected Dem about the concept of "damnatio memoriae." Chisel his name off every inscription. Build over the various Trump Towers like they're Nero's Golden House. Remove him from physical memory, not to forget but as a sign of disrespect to the man.
After their owner passed last week, I've just found a new forever home for her two sweet babies Kit & Caboodle! Their new parents aren't ready for them until late May though, so is there anyone in the LA area who can take in K&C and foster them just for the next 4-5 weeks? Please DM me, thanks!
So…as established, my little old house is gently haunted. I don’t generally go out of my way to “catch” the ghosts, but one night I heard the weirdest, quietest breathing right. behind. me. Slowly, I reached for my phone…and without turning around to eyeball the pervy spook, I took this selfie 👇
report, block @jamescheung.bsky.social for spammy ass out of context nonsense replies.
Already blocked by a cryptocurrency list. I think that’s the only list I subscribe to that I block and don’t just mute? They never even post entertainingly bad content you might want to read.
While everyone is correctly calling this a mass shooting, it's also a family annihilator case. Most of the violence in our society comes back to intimate partner violence. If we care about peace in any way, we have to care about violence in the home.
Have you been watching the #kakapo webcam? After a few power issues it’s back online. I’ll be at the nest in about an hour from now, so tune in then if you’re free! www.youtube.com/live/K_j3aaE...
A close up of my dachshund named Libby. She is a smooth blonde mini dachshund with dark eyes. She is giving a little side-eye and an unsure expression.

No previous American president, in any era, of any party, would have tolerated a drunken, erratic, absent FBI chief

I made one friend here, and it’s because she spoke the universal code of the fucked up. Your people will recognize you from responses like that, and anyone who finds it weird isn’t someone you’re safe being more than work cordial with, and that’s good to know.

I’ve had the same editor since 1967. Many times he has said to me over the years or asked me, Why would you use a semicolon instead of a colon? And many times over the years I have said to him things like: I will never speak to you again. Forever. Goodbye. That is it. Thank you very much. And I leave. Then I read the piece and I think of his suggestions. I send him a telegram that says, OK, so you’re right. So what? Don’t ever mention this to me again. If you do, I will never speak to you again

I have Long Covid, I don't want you to get it. Please keep track of the latest Covid-19 variations. The newest one is, Cicada. It's currently spreading through 31 states, and could give us trouble this summer! #MASKUP😷
You know what a super spread event is!

Aerial view of large scale devastation inflicted on the southern Lebanese town of Bint Jbeil, with an Israeli tank parked in the center of the photo.
This is what Israel has done to Bint Jbeil, my hometown in southern Lebanon
What he had was a gun.
If you see this, post something orange from your gallery.
If you’ve read COLOR TASTE TEXTURE, you’ve probably seen another version of this. We tried a bunch of backgrounds.
Browsing this company's website and the only way I can describe what I'm seeing is imagine a school shooter was a management consultant
Hey, as a CEO who recognized our workers' union at the company I was leading, I can confirm these points, though I'd add some nuance. *Starting* these initiatives during a union drive can definitely be seen as union-busting; their existence is not necessarily inherently seen as such by the NLRB.
20. The pervasive intolerance of religious belief in certain circles must be resisted. The elite's intolerance of religious belief is perhaps one of the most telling signs that its political project constitutes a less open intellectual movement than many within it would claim.
This bullet point from Alex Karp/Palantir’s latest diatribe strikes me as the best representation of the whole project.
“The elite’s intolerance of religious beliefs…”
Let me stop you right there, Alex. You just made that up. That isn’t a thing in 2026 America.
Your phone will never take a good photo of the moon except for this one rare exception.

I would love it if those of you who do not have library cards will apply for one at your local branch during #NationalLibraryWeek. Then let me know about it. 😇
