Fred Rogers does seem to have been a genuinely decent human being and also he would probably be the first to tell you not to idolize him, but to find in yourself what is beautiful and special and hold that up to the light so that you can see it clearly, and can everyone else.
10/10 recommend deleting Facebook and Instagram from your phone and replacing them with the Libby app. Then download the genre of books you find most addictive. I'm currently tearing through Lauren Groff's "The Vaster Wilds."
Written before the election. I have found that immersive reading is saving my mind right now. That means without my phone nearby to doom scroll, btw. Immersive reading does not work with constant distraction.
