I have no idea what this means. Bluesky is always broken.

We recently asked the manager of our tiny, formerly quiet apt building to talk to the new tenants about noise. His response: call the cops. 😳 When B said he refuses to call the cops on our Latino neighbors the manager said he didn’t know what we expect him to do. Um, your job, maybe? 🤦‍♀️

We park in a lot in San Ysidro then walk in. But walking out takes forever, so you might be more comfortable driving because at least that way you’re not on your feet for hours.

I absolutely hate that three of my favorite follows are on Substack, but they simply don’t seem to care. One even moved to Substack from Patreon after the Nazi shit came out and she was well aware. I don’t want to lose access to their content because it brings me joy.

Michaela Cole’s face is a work of art. She stands toe-to-toe with Sir Ian McKellen here and they both sparkle. Cole’s Lori is understated & controlled while McKellen’s Julian bloviates. It’s a great pairing.

I grew up on the west side in the 70s-80s and it was not like this back then. I’ve lived in Kansas City, Minneapolis & Chicago and it was not like this there. I live in Hollywood now and it’s pretty obnoxious. Not just during awards season, but all year.

For me, 3 stars is the threshold for “good enough to watch again someday.” Anything below that is a hate watch.
