For the Radxa Snapdragon, you should be able to run our tools there through a .deb file, .rpm or similar installation method. ARM64 works well, though our Swift libraries are currently focussed on NVIDIA GPUs.
RISCV is on our roadmap too, that requires more effort & testing.

@livinglinux.bsky.social what devboard do you use?
I have not looked at rockchip - but yes to RISC-V!
WendyOS currently supports the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, and the Raspberry Pi 5. We're adding more platforms to the list too!
What hardware are you most eager for? ๐

I will definitely attempt to visit next year. This conference takes the crown as my favourite community โค๏ธ
Very excited to have met the amazing Swift community in Japan. They are extremely curious and enthusiastic for Swift on more platforms!
Between, during and after the conference talks, I've spent over 16 hours just talking with people about Swift on Android, Server and Embedded!
I will not confirm or deny anything ๐ฌ
Me on stage at try! Swift Tokyo 2026, waving to the audience. Projected screen displays event details and Japanese text. Bright spotlights illuminate the scene.
Audience seated in a theater watching my presentation. A large screen displays a "try! Swift TOKYO 2026" slide with photos of me holding the Apple design award and App Store Award.

Big Hummingbird 2 improvement ๐
We've managed to speed up your typical HTTP response by 25%, by batching writes into the network stack.
This change, while small, increases the req/sec by 25%, and reduces the latency to a response by the same 25%.
All that at 165K req/sec, in only ~20MB of RAM
See you soon!
I'm sorry if you're not yet using Swift on Server - 'cause you're missing out on an amazing community!
People are super motivated, collaborative and friendly! โค๏ธ
Couldn't wish for more.

๐ The Swift extension is now live on the Open VSX Registry, enabling first-class Swift support in Cursor, VSCodium, AWS Kiro, and Google Antigravity.
That means code completion, refactoring, debugging, testing, and DocC support, wherever you code.๐งโ๐ปhttps://swift.org/blog/expanding-swift-ide-support/

I post a lot about tech that Iโm skeptical about, so let me cleanse the timeline with some tech I find genuinely awesome.
1. @swift.org (Especially web servers on Linux, and WASM in the browser. Full stack!)
2. @atproto.com (Open social with open APIs? Love it.)
3. @railway.com (Chefโs kiss.)
