Emerald Hatchling was one of those 'hidden in journal' pets initially, and had an uncertain/undefined source. We skipped it until we had more information. Now that it's clear it's a quest reward from the main campaign, we'll get it up on WarcraftPets as soon as we can

Blizzard has posted a feedback thread on the Alpha forums regarding Pet Battles in Midnight. There will be pets to collect, Pet Battle combat (that they want to iterate on), as well as some experimental alternative methods to acquiring pets in the expansion. us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/fee...
