If the state is unwilling to provide housing to those who need it, those people have every goddamn right to use public land for their survival.

So colorful!
Nevada's largest utility says it will need three times the electricity required to power Las Vegas just to handle proposed data centers — and it probably can't do that without fossil fuels.

Good lord, these losers really do think they're playing Call of Duty
The Democratic Party is capitalism's HR department; ostensibly supposed to represent workers and mediate their grievances, but really just there to cover your boss's ass.
If this were true, it would be necessary to say "you is here." "You" was once plural, but is now treated as singular, and we still construct sentences without any confusion or controversy.
Lol this is adorable
This guy is a masterclass on grounded policymaking, and disciplined messaging. It's incredible to see this kind of speaking talent devoted to a progressive agenda.
mamdani being a cheerful normal guy that people project absolute insane things on is one of the things that make him very relatable to me, personally
Not everything that breaks is technically the fault of vibe coding but the kind of culture that would foster vibe coding is the kind that produces a lot of shit that breaks.
We all knew this was coming; Trump wants to make "gender extremism," and anything else considered "un-American" to be deemed national security threats under the purview of the FBI. And he wants to fund tracking it down. That's not hyperbole, it's the language of his budget proposal, verbatim.
TBH I think being a genuinely decent sincere person has come all the way back around to being cool again
"That was a problem for future me and now I am future me"
He can't even keep track of what he wants, much less what he's been threatening to get it.
This is fantastic to see, and it's a clear demonstration that cities everywhere can do the same.
It is, very literally, the LEAST we can do.
I pity the guy. He isn't exactly a sympathetic character, but he is a tragic one. He's like a mouse that chewed its way into a barrel of plastic pellets, and decided to stay inside and consume nothing else.
Ah yes, the three genders: diesel, gas, and EV.
THANK
The first of many 🙌🏻
Hell yeah 🙌🏻
Eureka! Turns out the hinges were spring loaded, and I had to pull on one side during assembly.
Photo of the arch at the entrance of Collegio Militar De La Nacion
Bro, that eagle isn't even a real object, it's a flat graphic pasted on top of the photo. This is the real arch. From what I can determine by googling, the image on the right was made as an art piece.

We're even made of 60% water. This is why nobody has ever drowned.
A nation of "You can't do that!" vs "What are you going to do about it?"
Actually, that's a good point. I could just fuse them in place if I'm completely unable to fix the hinges.
I might try. Or maybe remove the ones in there and try to reassemble separately, since that must be how they were made to begin with.
Wooden glasses frame, disassembled and marked with pencil
Wire inlay where the pencil was marked
Black varnish on one side of the wire inlay
The finished pieces, unassembled. A strip of iridescent vinyl has been lacquered between the inlaid wires.
Well, shoot. I had to repair a spot on my glasses, so figured I'd have some fun and modify them a little. But it turns out the hinges can't be reassembled once they're taken apart, they're manufactured under tension. So now I can't use them at all. 🥲
