Noem egged ICE on as they arrested innocent children, violated Minnesotans’ rights, and harassed entire communities. She smeared Renee Good and Alex Pretti. I’m glad she’s going but the problem isn’t going away with her. My eye is still on the ball and I’m going to keep fighting for justice.

When our communities are under attack, we don’t sit back — we organize and get to work.

Today at 9 am, I’m in federal court fighting for Minnesota and seeking a restraining order to stop ICE’s unlawful and unconstitutional occupation of our state.

No one is above the law. No Minnesotan is beneath it.

Tonight, on behalf of Minnesota law enforcement, I filed a lawsuit against DHS to prevent the destruction of evidence related to the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.

DHS is not above the law, and Alex sure as hell is not beneath it.

Extremism is knocking on our door, as YouTubers and federal agents. Schools and hospitals are slashed while Trump pardons crooks and gives handouts to billionaires.

Minnesotans know there’s only one way to weather a storm: you don’t do it alone.

Somali Minnesotans can speak to this xenophobia so clearly because they feel the consequences of his hateful words.
