Early Access was a disastrous move in my experience. Next Fest (at least a few years ago) didn't accept Early Access titles (despite NF and EA both being Steam programs) and while EA games show more proof of work than Kickstarter promises, the general response seems "I'll buy it when it's done."

Ashley Fairbanks @ziibiing.com launched Stand With Minnesota standwithminnesota.com, a mutual aid repository supporting residents under ICE's siege, in early Jan. in the weeks since, it's facilitated covering people's rents and flown folks detained back home from Texas.
she can help you do it, too.
When they make movies about this in the future they will tone down the cruelty of ICE and border patrol, like Spielberg did with Goeth in Schindler's List, because no one will believe they were actually this monstrous.

Industrial heat is one of the hardest parts of the energy transition.
This sand battery is now delivering fossil-free heat for industry, storing renewable electricity as high-temperature heat and releasing it when needed. Simple idea, big impact.
the thing i'm waiting for with the ai romance novel lady is for another scammer to figure out that purely ai-generated material w no human authorship is generally not considered to be protected by copyright in the US rn, and saving themselves the 45 mins per book by reselling hers
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Alberto Castañeda Mondragón says his memory was so jumbled after a beating by immigration officers that he initially could not remember he had a daughter and still struggles to recall treasured moments like the night he taught her to dance. But the violence he endured last month in Minnesota while being detained is seared into his battered brain. He remembers Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pulling him from a friend’s car on Jan. 8 outside a St. Paul shopping center and throwing him to the ground, handcuffing him, then punching him and striking his head with a steel baton. He remembers being dragged into an SUV and taken to a detention facility, where he said he was beaten again. He also remembers the emergency room and the intense pain from eight skull fractures and five life-threatening brain hemorrhages.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”
What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.
This is tonight, 8pm Central!
I'll be there to answer question about Quarterstaff, indie game development, game design, and maybe a rant or two about how accessibility and challenge are not mutually exclusive.
There will be codes to give away, and there's a FREE DEMO if you want to follow along.
Law firms are going to be adding this sign to their fee schedules.
Begging AI dude bros to learn even 1% of IP law or even just google copyright at this point to understand why this is such an utterly fatuous horse to place your bets on jesus christ. It’s NFTs all over again. Trend jumpers who cosplay zuckerberg flip flop hoodie realness.
This was posted in the new Epstein files release and removed about 20 mins later.
Wonder why that is.

“It’s rare to find a tactics game this simple that stays compelling, which this has accomplished in spades. Honestly, the best compliment I can give it is that I’m going to go right back to playing it after I finish this review.”

There are plenty of folks being wrongfully imprisoned as we speak by ICE/DHS overreach and they could still be in jail in 2029. I'm no fan of this unlimited pardon nonsense, but there may be *thousands* of folks genuinely deserving of a pardon by the next president.

Small, free act you can do to bring some good in this world: add positive reviews to ALL you Steam games, especially the small indies. You don't need to write anything smart, just "game good" is enough. Every positive steam review tips the algorithm and helps your fav artists get more sales
Currently taking all the smallest indie games in my Steam library and letting them run for a few minutes (if I haven't played them) so I can leave a positive review.
Review your indie games! Even if it doesn't say much. I'm just copying and pasting.

You shipped with only 30 bugs still in the build? IMPRESSIVE!
Oh... wait... not that kinda bug. Congrats all the same.
Wonder if the new Fable will continue using the morality system that flags you as evil for eating meat, good for eating veggies, but has absolutely nothing to say when you buy up every house in a village and become a slumlord.
Homeless and forced to hunt = evil, but rent-seeking parasite = ok.
